Children learn at a much faster pace during their first five years than any other time in their lives. From the beginning, all parents are teachers  and can give their children the best possible start in life during the first crucial years.

Parents As Teachers educate parents on what to look for and expect from their baby as he/she grows. We provide knowledge about inexpensive ways to help stimulate your child's motor skills and intellectual development through fun books and activities.

PAT Educators will:

• Provide information on what to look for and expect from your child as he/she develops. Working with you, your PAT educator will periodically assess your child's development.
• Provide you with knowledge about inexpensive ways to help stimulate your child's motor skills and intellectual development through fun and books and activities.
• Will have monthly or bi-monthly meetings with families which will include activities, games and food to help them meet other families in the program and let the children get to know each other.
